Late at night, they flicker across my screen: reproduced works of art. The internet allows art to transcend physical space and to appear anywhere, anytime—forever. Once, they were shaped by the life that created them. Then the disembodied digital world distorted them. What has become of them now?

Ghost of the Day attempts to capture the spirit of reproduced art and transform them back into physical objects. First, electronic devices conjure up the images through a complex ritual. Then I use acrylic medium to banish their manifestations on wood.
